The short version

This site is a static personal museum. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, has no login, no forms, no comments, and no third-party trackers. If you visit and read, you leave behind only what Cloudflare and my server logs record automatically.

What is served

• Static HTML/CSS/JS files
• Locally hosted images (my historical profile pictures and banners) — served from this domain, not embedded from third parties
• No fonts loaded from Google or other third parties — all typography uses your system’s Courier New monospace
• No JavaScript beacons, analytics, ads, or embed widgets

Third parties actually involved

• Cloudflare — proxies traffic between you and my server via a Cloudflare Tunnel. Cloudflare terminates TLS and may log your request per its own policy.
• Porkbun — domain registrar. No traffic touches them at request time.
• archive.org (Wayback Machine) — used by me to source my own historical profile images. It is not contacted by your browser when you visit this site.
• Outbound links to x.com and laurenswhipple.com follow those sites’ own policies once you click through.

Server logs

My origin nginx logs standard access lines (timestamp, path, response code, user-agent) with client IPs redacted at the CF edge before they reach the origin. Logs are retained locally for at most 14 days for debugging and are not sold, shared, or joined against any other data.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a session cookie (__cf_bm, bot management) on its edge; that is Cloudflare’s domain of control, not mine.

Data I actively collect from X

To assemble the /faces gallery I run a nightly automated grab of my own X profile page using my own authenticated session, and archive the profile picture and banner URLs. No other user’s data is fetched, scraped, or stored on this site. Historical images are sourced from public Wayback Machine snapshots of my own profile pages.
